Is Feng Shui Too Woo Woo For You?
I naturally resonate with tips & techniques, that will not only catapult my serenity BUT skyrocket my prosperity. When I was introduced to Feng Shui, it didn’t take me long to start “shuing” my home (explains why I use red as an accent color).
Feng Shui is the art of home décor from the Chinese culture that aims to bring more beauty, health and wealth into your life, by rearranging items in your home with an intentional design and layout.
Feng Shui fits every budget. Some of the techniques require zero cash, while others require investing a pretty penny to have your home custom designed by a Feng Shui Expert.
My good friend Deborah Kagan, a Feng Shui Expert in Los Angeles, invited me to one of her Women’s Empowerment events and I walked away with 3 action steps that you can take today, to instantly open your channels of abundance tomorrow.
1. The front door is the gateway to your life; please keep it neat and clutter free.
2. Do not create extra storage underneath your bed. Energy needs to circulate around your body at night when you sleep, which is not possible if the space underneath is cluttered with stuff.
3. You don’t have to cook but keep a clean kitchen for the best possible energy. A faulty burner on your stove that doesn’t work, can suck the prosperity out of your kitchen. It implies a problem with financial resources.
Money is energy and if you pay close attention to the energy you’re emanating, you will see a direct correlation between how money flows in and out of your life.
Positive energy brings prosperity. It sounds “Woo Woo” but I’ll be the first to tell you, the Law of Attraction works. When your home is not up to par, you’re sending strong signals to the universe, and blocking your energy flow. Why not set yourself up for success in a “Hot House”?
I’ve always been a stickler for keeping a beautiful place. I’ve rented a 100 SF room, lived in a 400 SF studio and owned a 5000 SF estate; they all had one thing in common. I made them pretty.
When I can use a cash infusion, instead of stressing about money, I take massive action, time to tidy up, and head straight for the closet to purge. Just as working out gives me clarity, cleaning and keeping things in order is also healthy for the mind and spirit, deleting and editing is a form of Self Love & Self Worth. You are abiding by the universal law that by giving & letting go, you’re positioned to receive. By taking care of what you have, you’re equipped to receive more.
Now I’d like you to think how you can add a little Feng Shui to your place & make it a “Hot House”. Get ready for waves of prosperity!
